Hydrate and illuminate your skin even in winter
The skin
For luminous, lifted and plumped skin, revive microcirculation and hydrate deeply with the «Winter beauty» protocol.
Recommended tools
The double mini yin roller
Begin by rolling gently over the entire face with the double mini yin roller, making back-and-forth movements in the natural direction of the skin.
The yin effect disperses accumulated heat, hydrates deeply and softens tissues suffocated by the cold.
Work the cheeks, forehead, neck and décolleté for 2 to 3 minutes to prepare the skin to absorb the treatments that follow.
The yang sphere – concave ball
Use the golden sphere to place on closed eyelids a gentle warmth that relieves ocular tension and decongests puffiness.
Then pass the concave roller tracing the contours of the orbit and lifting the cheekbones: 30 back-and-forth movements per zone.
This double tool stimulates microcirculation and redefines the oval of the face for an immediately lifting effect.
The Little-hammer yin-yang
In winter, the skin needs both gentleness and awakening. This is exactly what this treatment offers.
Begin with the yin side (metal mini-rods) and tap the entire face with infinite lightness (forehead, temples, cheeks, jaw) for two minutes. These micro-percussions gently restart the lymphatic and blood microcirculation, without ever aggressing skin weakened by the cold.
Then finish with the yang side on the forehead and temples. Energy awakens, the complexion brightens, the skin rediscovers that vibrant glow that winter had taken away.
And if you wish to go even further, the rubber tip allows you to stimulate specific bqc·points to revitalise the tissues in depth.
You will find numerous formulas in our booklets (or in your course notes if you were fortunate enough to follow training with Dien Chan experts from the ISMDC).

Additional tips
Practise this treatment in the evening before applying your serum or night cream: the skin then absorbs active ingredients optimally. Use one to two drops of essential oil of rose or neroli mixed with your base oil to amplify the winter sensory pleasure.
Alternate regularly between the toning and the gentle effect to maintain skin balance.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my moisturiser less effective in winter?
In winter, the cold constricts your capillaries and reduces exchanges between the layers of your skin. Even an excellent cream cannot penetrate effectively if your microcirculation is sluggish. The stimulation tools restart these exchanges in just a few minutes.
Is this protocol suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, the gentle effects are particularly suited to sensitive and reactive skin in winter. The toning-gentle alternation respects the natural balance of your skin. For very reactive skin, start with the gentle technique alone for the first two weeks.
